The publication Sharqi by Nicos Philippou is the first in a series of publications under the general title Contemporary Photographic Practices at NiMAC. This exhibition and publishing programme by the Nicosia Municipal Art Centre, Associated with the Pierides Foundation, [NiMAC] presents the work and research of contemporary photographers from Cyprus and abroad. The series is edited by Yiannis Toumazis.
