Nicosia Pop Up Festival 2020
For one more year, the Municipality of Nicosia in collaboration with NiMAC [Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre, Associated with the Pierides Foundation], organizes and holds the Nicosia Pop Up Festival 2020 from 5 December 2020 until 3 January 2021.
The festival will take place at the Theatro Polis–OPAP, at NiMAC [Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre, Associated with the Pierides Foundation] and in other venues of the city.
Taking into account the epidemiological situation and the relevant health protocols, this year only proposals pertaining to Performing and Visual Arts were selected. The twenty participants –young creators, artists, performers and other professionals from Cyprus and abroad– will present their innovative and creative ideas to the public of Nicosia and of Cyprus in general.
All relevant health protocols will be strictly adhered to at the festival venues in order to limit the spread of Covid-19 and for the protection of all participants.
A detailed programme of the various festive events and those of the Nicosia Pop Up Festival 2020 can be found on the website of the Municipality of Nicosia [www.nicosia.org.cy] and on the Nicosia Pop Up Festival Facebook page [www.facebook.com/popupfestival2020].
The Nicosia Pop Up Festival 2020 is jointly organized by the Municipality of Nicosia and NiMAC [Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre, Associated with the Pierides Foundation]. It is sponsored by the Nicosia Tourism Board and has the support of Alpha Cyprus.
