PROGRAMME A
The programme seeks to bring children into contact with the world of contemporary art and to familiarise them with its versatile and adaptable nature, offering them the opportunity to get acquainted to and experiment with different materials and art techniques, as well as to stimulate their creative skills in order to make –using their imagination– their own works. In a pleasant, educational and entertaining environment, the children will play, explore and express their inner world through individual and group projects, developing their creative skills and sharpening their critical thinking.

PROGRAMME B
This particular programme is aimed at children who have already attended Programme Α during which they had the opportunity to come into contact with the basic concepts of modern art. In this second cycle of courses children will be able to broaden their knowledge by discovering new artists and trends in the contemporary art scene. Through interactive courses of theoretical and practical content, as well as visits to the exhibition halls of NiMAC, the participants will get acquainted with new ways of thinking and will have the opportunity to further develop the techniques to which they were initiated with the first programme sessions.

ENGRAVING
The programme seeks to give children the opportunity to learn and practise all stages of making an engraving with the help of a special engraving press for children. In addition, it aims to enrich the children’s artistic expression with new elements, while developing at the same time their imagination and inventiveness.

THEATRE WORKSHOP
Its aim is to encourage children to use their imagination and to develop critical thinking and communication skills, as well as to help them build self-confidence and explore new ways of expression through theatre games, improvisation and experimentation. Through theatre, the children have the opportunity to learn to work collectively and get better acquainted with team work, while at the same time they enjoy themselves and have fun by getting to know better both themselves and the world.

PHOTOGRAPHY
The children will construct their own pinhole camera and will use the darkroom to develop their photos. Through a creative dialogue with their teacher, the camera and themselves, they will be equipped with the necessary technical knowledge so as to be able to discover their individual way of expression.
The program includes: ● Light painting technique ● Construction of a pinhole camera ● Dark room ● Black-and-white photos and their developing ● Screening of a documentary on photography ● Techniques of zoom-in and zoom-out ● Techniques of diaphragms and speed ● Art photography and image composition ● Lighting ● Abstract photography ● Various art photography techniques.

VIDEO ART
This cycle of courses will give children the opportunity to get acquainted with digital processing of image and sound. They will gain knowledge of current trends of expression and communication in the world of art.
