More than 120 works are presented in this exhibition created by the avant-garde artists of the Greek art of the 20th century. These are Constantinos Parthenis Nikos Hadjikiriakos-Gkikas, Giannis Tsarouchis and Giannis Moralis.
The selection and presentation of the four artists in this exhibition is not accidental. The essential relationship amongst them is what mainly characterizes all four masters of modern painting. All of them faced art and life with the same “aristocratic” view, attempting consciously and without any compromise to connect the great plastic achievements of the beginning of the 20th century with the oddities of Greek experience.
